Nina is inspired by the memorable American actress Rebecca Schaeffer, who died tragically in 1989. Interestingly, she was not my first choice for the character, but another girl I liked at that time. I was all set, until flipping through a magazine, read an article about the murder of John Lennon where he spoke of similar experiences. There was a mention of Rebecca Schaeffer, who I had talked but did not put much care until I went to Youtube and found their videos ... and I was fascinated by the beauty, warmth and charisma that Rebecca Schaeffer conveyed in these videos.
And then came the possibility of including it in my foronovela "Giuliana, learning to live." Could not be the protagonist (Valeria Bringas is untouchable), nor could a child not relevant.

For this reason and not to saturate my foronovela character, then replace it with another preferred best actress. And I saw the cast to see if there was a girl who no longer thrills me as much. But it was a difficult decision ... All I liked!
Until I thought of "Nina" ... and I thought Rebecca's videos on Youtube ... It's her! And watching the videos I decided to rewrite her character thinking about it ... as the videos were from the 80s, then, "Nina" became the owner of a shop of nostalgia for the 80s.

Interestingly, if Rebecca was still alive, then, would 42 years while Paul would twenties ... but in my foronovela, both are the same age.
